Our vibrant little learners recently embarked on their first annual trip for 2024, and it was an experience that sent their imaginations soaring!
Where History Takes Wing
The Ratmalana Airport Museum, home to the Sri Lanka Air Force Museum, opened its doors to our wide-eyed explorers. Filled with a delightful collection of vintage aircraft and aviation memorabilia, this museum is a haven for any child fascinated by flight. With each step, our students were transported back in time.
Little Pilots and Ground Crew
The children couldn't resist the excitement of pretending to be pilots, excitedly inspecting the cockpits of old airplanes. They marveled at the controls, imagining themselves guiding these fantastic machines through the clouds. We watched as little engineers-in-the-making examined the aircraft's engines, gears, and propellers with intense curiosity.
The museum visit not only showcased airplanes but also highlighted the hardworking team behind aviation.
Memories that Will Last a Lifetime
The smiles on our little explorers' faces said it all. Watching them interact with real-life historical exhibits provided a sense of wonder traditional classroom learning can't easily replicate. We're so grateful to the Ratmalana Airport Museum for their hospitality and for sparking a lifelong love of aviation in our Golden Bees.
